How to make Java work on Windows XP

The Java Runtime plugin widely used by banks, is not compatible with Windows XP. However, users still need to use it in the old Microsoft system may use an older version of the application.

However, Java 8 and earlier versions still work in Windows XP, but Oracle warns that no longer supports these versions. How to make Java work on Windows XP

Step 1. Access the old Java download page (oracle.com/technetwork/java/archive). Then click "Java SE 7";

Step 2. Next, click "Java SE Runtime Environment 7u80";

Step 3. Select the item "Accept License Agreement" and click "jre-7u80-windows-i586.exe";

Step 4. Finally, log into your Oracle account to download. If you do not have one, click "Create Account" to register for free.

With these tips, you can download an older version of Java to install in Windows XP.
